(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland.
B6342 Rugley Walls to Rothley Cross Roads from its junction with C162 heading south for a length of 905 metres.
B6342 Cambo to Rugley Walls from a point 20 metres north of its junction with C195 heading south for a length of 1145 metres.
B6342 B6343 Cambo Village from its junction with the U6044 heading south for a length of 375 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th April 2024 until the 31st October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 29th April 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6342, C161, B6343, B6342, A696 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for surface dressing and associated works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
