(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland:
C30 East Moneylaws Junction To Fisherstead from its junction with the C31 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 194 metres
C28 Branxton Moor Junction to Branxton from its junction with the C30 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 634 metres
U1124 Road to Branxtonhill Farm from its junction with the C28 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 545 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st May 2024 until the 29th May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st May 2024 until the 8th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 29th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C30, C29, C23, A697 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
