RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES IN VARIOUS
LOCATIONS ACROSS THE BOROUGH
[NOTE: This Notice is about the permanent changes of
lengths of double yellow lines and parking places to
accommodate electric scooter (e-scooter) & cycle hire
parking places in various locations across the Borough.]
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the
London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make:
The Ealing (Electric Scooter & Cycle Hire Parking
Places) (No .* Borough Wide) Order 202*; The Ealing
(Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking
Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing
(Parking Places) (Pay and Display) (Southall Area 1)

(Southall Area 1) (Residents Parking Places) Order
(2003, Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing
(Southall Area 5) (Residents Parking Places) Order

Order 202*, under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and
124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the proposed Orders would
be to permanently designate new e-scooter & cycle
hire parking places that may be used at any time and
without time limit by electric scooters and cycle hire
bicycles, that are part of the trial and provided for hire
by companies authorised by and under such conditions
as stipulated by Transport for London, on lengths of
the roads mentioned in paragraphs 2(a) and 2(b) to this
Notice, by:-
(a) introducing new e-scooter & cycle hire parking
places on the lengths of the following roads
(without any other change):
Avon Road, Southall south-west side (near Allenby
Rd); Balfour Road, Southall south-west side
(near Susex Rd); Burns Avenue, Southall south-east
side footway (near Dormer’s Well Ln); Dale Road,
Greenford south-east side footway (near Hurley
Rd); Evelyn Grove, Southall south side (near Lady
Margaret Rd); Glade Lane, Southall north-east side
(near Post Rd); Green Drive, Southall west side
(near Park Ave); Greenford, Greenford the west
side footway (opp No. 37); High Street, Southall
north-east side footway (opp No. 18); Hunt Road,
Southall west side (opp No. 29-69); Kingsley
Avenue, Southall west side (near Burns Ave); Lady
Margaret Road, Southall north-west side footway
(opp No. 195 / 197); Lady Margaret Road, Southall
north-west side (opp No. 522); Lovell Road, Southall
the west side (opp No. 76); Maple Grove, Southall
the north-east side; Morland Gardens, Southall the
north-west side (adj to No. 210); Norwood Road,
Southall south-west side (opp Harewood Terr);

(b) amending the parking restrictions and / or the
parking provisions on lengths of the following
roads mentioned;
(i) and contained within the following controlled
parking zones [CPZ’s]: (A) Zone L - Boyd Avenue,
south side, part convert from permit holder
parking place; (B) Zone L - Lancaster Road, west
side, convert the 4th pay and display bay (north
of The Broadway); (C) Zone L - North Road,
north-west side, convert the shared use permit
& pay & display bay (northernmost bay) and a
section of waiting restriction; (D) Zone L -
Park Avenue, north-east side, convert shared
use permit & pay & display bay; (E) Zone L -
Shackelton Road, south side, convert part of
shared use permit & pay & display bay;
(F) Zone L - Viking Road, west side, part convert
1st shared use permit & pay by phone parking
place (at Norman Ave); (G) Zone L - Woodlands
Road, south-east side, convert part of limited
waiting parking place (north of Beaconsfield Rd);
(H) Zone LL - George Street, north-east side, part
convert from permit parking place (opp No. 46);
(I) Zone LL - Norwood Gardens, north-east
side, convert a section of permit parking place;
(J) Zone V - Hammond Road, south-west side,
convert part of limited waiting parking place;
(ii) and not contained within CPZ’s convert the
limited waiting parking place on: Allenby Road,
Southall the west side (opp No. 245);
Jubilee Gardens, Southall the north-west side
(opp the medical Centre), to accommodate the
new e-scooter & cycle hire parking places;
(c) amend waiting restrictions (double yellow lines)
on lengths of: Dale Road; Evelyn Grove,
Lady Margaret Road; and North Road, Southall.

4. The proposed Orders, other documents giving more
detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are
available by inspection at Customer Services Reception,
Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between
9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks
have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders
are made, or the Council decides not to make
the Orders.
5. Any objections or other representations about either
of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by
e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to
Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road
W5 2HL, quoting reference P032-2024 until the
1 May 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on
which they are made and should include the address
of the author.
