NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
Peckforton Hall Lane, Peckforton
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes
to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily
prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Peckforton Hall Lane, Peckforton
From the junction with Stone House Lane to the junction with
A49 Whitchurch Road.
The alternative route will be via Stone House Lane, Wrexham
Road, Ridley Green, Whitchurch Road and vice versa which is
considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Friday 3 May 2024 and
will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is
necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 28 June 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Circle Avenue, Willaston – For the
full extent.
Gladstone Street, Willaston – For the full extent.
Mercian Close, Shavington cum Gresty – For the full extent.
Belgrave Road, Crewe – For the full extent.
Shakespeare Drive, Crewe – For the full extent.
Vincent Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Broad Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Hightown, Crewe – For the full extent.
Hall Lane, Warmingham – For the full extent.
Coole Lane, Baddington – For the full extent.
Wrinehill Road, Wybunbury – For the full extent.

This order will come into operation on Friday 12 April 2024 and
will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is
necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 10 May 2024

Public Rights of Way Notice
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 51 And No. 46 Town of Sandbach
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2)
(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire
East Borough Council will make an Order, the effect of which
will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 51 in the Town of Sandbach
which commences at SJ 7364 6136 and runs in a generally
easterly then northerly direction for approximately 130m to
SJ 7375 6138.
That length of Public Footpath No. 46 in the Town of Sandbach
which commences at SJ 7375 6138 and runs in a generally
northerly then easterly direction for approximately 70m to
SJ 7378 6142.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while
the railway bridge is replaced.
The Order will come into force on 22 April 2024 and will continue
in force for a period of six months, or until the works are
completed, whichever is the earlier.
An alternative route is available via the highway network.

access and circulation areas, maintenance and improvement
of existing access into the site south of the level crossing and
the existing vehicular access north of the level crossing, cycle
and pedestrian access to the whole site, relocation of existing
clock tower, new internal roads and drainage infrastructure.
Units 3, 4 & 5 (total proposed floorspace of 39,960sqm) seek
outline approval for access and scale, reserving appearance,
landscaping and layout for later approval.
