What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

WOOD ROAD, NAILSTONE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/05/2024 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety implemented by Leicestershire County Council due to unsafe carriageway conditions as a result of flooding. The Order will come into force when the appropriate traffic signs are erected. The proposed diversion route will be via: B582 Grange Rd, Grange Ln, Nailstone; A447 Nailstone/Ibstock/Ravenstone/Coalville; A511 Coalville/ Bardon; B585 Bardon/Stanton Under Bardon/Ellistown/Ibstock; & vice versa.

FOOTPATH I56, COSSINGTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 30/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Pegasus Group Ltd, on behalf of the Barber Farm Partnership, to safely undertake works to install a Solar Farm & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Bridleway I102, Footpath I63A & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council & their contractors to undertake carriageway patching and other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: signed on site. Any existing waiting restrictions imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

Main St, Merrylees Rd – Botcheston, Botcheston Rd, Newtown Unthank for their entire lengths. Desford Rd, Newtown Unthank from the junction of Botcheston Rd, Newton Unthank for 100 metres east & 100 metres west. Merrylees Rd, Bagworth Heath from the junction of Lindridge Ln, Desford for 470 metres east. 

SCHEDULE 2
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME
Main St, Botcheston, Botcheston Rd, Newtown Unthank for their entire lengths on both sides of the carriageway. Desford Rd, Newtown Unthank from the junction of Botcheston Rd, Newton Unthank for 100 metres east & 100 metres west on both sides of the carriageway.

THE AVENUE, NOSELEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 15/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new customer connection works and Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Illston Rd, Mere Rd, Harborough Rd, Billesdon Bypass, Tilton Rd, Uppingham Rd, Moor Ln, Moor Hill, Crackbottle Rd, Palmers Ln & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 16/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd undertake works on a new connection and any other various Utility works including Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Fosse Way, Maiden St, Archdale St & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 18/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow CityFibre to undertake infrastructure installations.
