Stockbridge Road, Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - STOCKBRIDGE ROAD, STOCKBRIDGE, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Stockbridge Road between its junction with A3057 Old Vicarage Lane and its junction with A3057 New Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3057, A3090, A27, A36, A345, A338, A30
DURATION OF ORDER: from 22nd April 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 22 days, working between the hours 08:00-16:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals & Dart Facility Services to carry out roadworks & wall repairs. Sunbelt Rentals & Dart Facility Services will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
