Albany Road / Rochester Grove, Fleet, Hart - Temporary road closure due to gas main repair work

What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Albany Road / Rochester Grove, Fleet, Hart

Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

Road To Be Closed:

  • that part of Albany Road between its junction with Connaught Road and its junction with Streamside.
  • that part of Rochester Grove between its junction with Albany Road for a distance of approx. 30m southeast from that junction.

Alternative Route:

For Albany Road – B3010, Connaught Road.

For Rochester Grove – A323, Clarence Road, Upper Street. Duration Of Order: from 22nd April 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.

(Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 7 weeks, in operation for 24 hours a day).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors Ltd to carry out gas main repair work. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: kayleighrussell@igcontractorsltd.com

I&G Contractors Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
