Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Hale House Lane (D127) Churt. Alternative Route: Green Cross Lane, Green Lane, (A287) Churt Road, and (A287) Crossways, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Map Group (UK). These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Grange Road (D111) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Grange Road (D111) Farnham as extends from its junction with (C28) Tilford Road to its junction with (D111) Eglington Road; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Grange Road (D111) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Tilford Road, Jumps Road, (A287) Farnham Road, (A287) Frensham Road, Priory Lane, and Grange Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate replacement telegraph pole water connection works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 09 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
D110 The Reeds Road, Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: –
1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the length of D110 The Reeds Road, Farnham that extends from its junction with A287 Frensham Road, to the south-western property boundary of “Dragon Lodge”. 2. Impose a speed limit of 20mph on the length of D110 The Reeds Road, Farnham that extends from its junction with A287 Frensham Road, to the south-western property boundary of “Dragon Lodge”. 3. Suspend Item 27 to the Second Schedule to ““The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Elstead Farnham Frensham Haslemere Peper Harow Thursley Tilford and Witley) (Revocation of Restricted Roads and 40 mph Speed Limit and Restricted Roads and 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1997” insofar as affects the length of D110 The Reeds Road, Farnham that extends from its junction with A287 Frensham Road, to the south-western property boundary of “Dragon Lodge”. 4. Suspend in its entirety the existing one way system for vehicular traffic in D110 The Reeds Road, Farnham (part of which is also known as “Back Lane”). This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out excavations and/or ducting and/or cabling and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, speed limit and suspensions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Alternative route: – D110 The Reeds Road and A287 Frensham Road.
Temples Close (D5325) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Temples Close (D5325) Farnham as extends from a point in line with the western boundary of the property known as “Rosemont” to its junction with (X11102) Temples Close. There is no applicable alternative route. The Order is required to allow new mains gas connection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 4 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 07 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, access for residents and the emergency services will be maintained via road plates when safe to do so.
