What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

B4455 FOSSE WAY, EATHORPE

Order Effect: Road closed between Hunningham Road and A423 Oxford Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: B4455 Fosse Way, A423, B4453 (Leamington Road, Rugby Road, Cubbington Road), A445, Clarendon Street, Willes Road, A425, B4455 Fosse Way and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

CHURCH HILL, BISHOPS TACHBROOK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Access required to BT structure for service, closed 09.30hrs-14.30hrs.

Order Commences: 9 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Church Hill, Oakley Wood Road and vice versa.

LITTLE END, HUNNINGHAM

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works in carriageway and verge for customer supply.

Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Main Street, Hunningham Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01773 305 021.

LEAM STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between St Mary’s Road and Northcote Street.

Reason for Order: To enable pipe renewal works.

Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: St Marys Road, Beaconsfield Street, Northcote Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

HIGH CROSS LANE, SHREWLEY

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to lay new cabling.

Order Commences: 11 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 April 2024

Access & Diversion: High Cross Lane, Shrewley Common, Back Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Nexus Utilities, Tel: 01865 965 176.

WATERY LANE, SHERBOURNE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable a boundary box installation.

Order Commences: 9 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Stratford Road, Vicarage Lane, Fulbrook Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

WARMINGTON GROVE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety between Eastley Crescent.

Reason for Order: Works in footway and carriageway to alter customer supply.

Order Commences: 10 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 08081 642 252.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

ABBEY HILL, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Repair and replacement of defective manhole frame and cover.

Order Commences: 23 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Abbey Hill, Priory Road, Waverley Road, Warwick Road, The Square, Abbey End and vice versa.

Contractor: Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.

D4152 CHARLES STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Emscote Road and All Saints Road. In addition, the weight restriction on Spinney Hill and Greville Road between All Saints Road and Emscote Road will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Closure to enable carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.00hrs, weekdays only. Suspension of weight limit to provide a suitable diversion for all road users whilst works are in progress.

Order Commences: 22 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2  May  2024.

Access & Diversion: All Saints Road, Spinney Hill, Greville Road, Emscote Road and vice versa. Access/Egress to/from Waterloo Court may be restricted whilst works are being in progress.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

HILL WOOTTON ROAD, HILL WOOTTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works for the installation of a sluice valve.

Order Commences: 23 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 25 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Hill Wootton Road, Leamington Road, Ashow Road and vice versa.

Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

NEW ROAD, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from outside Lowsonford Farm.

Reason for Order: To enable repair of a defective manhole frame and cover.

Order Commences: 22 April 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Preston Road, Henley Road, Edge Lane, Blackford Hill, Warwick Road, High Street, Birmingham Road, Liveridge Hill, Bushwood Lane, Irelands Lane, Lapworth Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
