TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 3, LEISTON

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing Footpath 3, Lelston from Saxmundham Road for 190 metres northbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 16/04/2024 - 05/05/2024 but, If necessary, the order may remain In force for 6 months (or longer If extended by the Minister). Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing Footpath 38, Stutton from Alton Hall Lane to Footpath 39, Footpath 39, Stutton and Footpath 40, Stutton to facilitate safety during resurfacing works. It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/04/2024 - 10/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6018 COW AND SHEEP DROVE, WEST ROW

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6018 Cow and Sheep Drove, West Row from 90 metres north of the junction with Cooks Drove for 50 metres northbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cow and Sheep Drove, Cooks Drove, The Green, Pollards Lane, Hurdle Drove, Cow and Sheep Drove and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2426 ALAN ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2426 Alan Road, Ipswich from no. 49 for 40 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Felixstowe Road, Newton Road, Rosehill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/04/2024 - 17/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4009 RERNERS STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4009 Berners Street, Ipswich from no. 59 - no. 54 to facilitate the installation of an electricity cable. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Anglesea Road, Henley Road, Fonnereau Road, Crown Street, St Matthews Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5801 FOXES LANE, MENDHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5801 Foxes Lane, Mendham from 552 metres northwest of Hollow Lane for 20 metres north westbound to facilitate installing a new water meter. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Withersdale Road, the B1123, Sandpit Hill and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C959 COAST ROAD, C0RT0N

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C959 Coast Road, Corton from Broadland Sands holiday park for 10 metres northbound and 10 metres southbound to facilitate a sewer installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lowestoft Road, Station Road, the A47, the B1385 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/04/2024 - 20/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C521 NUTTERY VALE, HOXNE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C521 Nuttery Vale, Hoxne from 1 metre southwest of the junction with Cross Street for 35 metres south westbound to facilitate installing a water meter. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Eye Road, Goldbrook, Abbey Hill, Cross Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C222 DUNWICH LANE, WESTLETON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C222 Dunwich Lane, Westleton from St Helena Way car park for 175 metres north westbound to facilitate laying telecommunications ducting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1125, Dunwich Road, Westleton Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/04/2024 - 19/04/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1075 RANELAGH ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1075 Ranelagh Road, Ipswich from no. 200 - no. 204 to facilitate safety during crane operation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

  • Westbound: Princes Street, West End Road, London Road and no vice versa

  • Eastbound: London road, West End Road, Chancery Road, Grafton Way, Commercial Road, Princes Street and no vice versa.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C465 WOODLANDS ROAD, RAYDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C465 Woodlands Road, Raydon from 200 metres south of the entrance to Woodlands Hall to 75 metres south of Raydon Road to facilitate safety during use of access point by heavy plant machinery. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1067 BRAMFORD ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1067 Bramford Road, Ipswich from Spa exit to no. 704 to facilitate a bridge inspection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Ship Lane, Fitzgerald Road, The Street, Loraine Way, Bramford Road, High Street, Hadleigh Road, Road from A134 Newton to A1214 Ipswich, London Road, Yarmouth Road, Bramford Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C730 POND HALL ROAD, HADLEIGH

Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C730 Pond Hall Road, Hadleigh from Hadleigh Bee Farm to Capitol Stud Farm to facilitate safety during use of access point by heavy plant machinery. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. It is intended that the closure will operate from 05704/2024 - 04/10/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8046 DUX STREET, BRETTENHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8046 Dux Street. Brettenham from 1100 metres south of the junction with Lower Farm Road for 45 metres southbound to facilitate de-vegetation works and an excavation in the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/04/2024 - 03/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1113 NEEDHAM ROAD, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1113 Needham Road, Stowmarket at the turning point opposite the electrical distribution site to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1113, the A1308 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on the B1113

Needham Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Muttons to The Woodlands.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 15/04/2024 - 18/04/2024 but, if necessary,

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C679 KILN LANE, REDE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C679 Kiln Lane, Rede from 68 metres north of Church Close for 422 metres north eastbound to facilitate a strategic pipeline project.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. It is intended that the closure will operate from 15/04/2024 - 14/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078 ASHBOCKING ROAD, HEMINGSTONE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1078 Ashbocking Road, Hemingstone from Brewery Cottage for 60 metres westbound to facilitate telecommunications pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be High Street, Needham Road, the A140, the A1120, Stowmarket Road, The Street, the B1077, The Green, the 61078 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4646 CHAPEL LANE, U4626 MILL LANE AND ROAD FROM A1120 TO ELM FARM HOUSE ACCESS ROAD AND U4645 BROAD GREEN ROAD, EARL STONHAM Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

  • the U4646 Chapel Lane, Earl Stonham from the junction with the A1120 for 750 metres south westbound

  • the U4626 Mill Lane, Earl Stonham from the junction with Chapel Lane for 50 metres south eastbound

  • the U4626 Road from A1120 to Elm Farm House Access Road, Earl Stonham from the junction with Mill Lane for 50 metres south westbound, and

  • the 114645 Broad Green Road, Earl Stonham from the junction with Road from A1120 to Elm Farm House Access Road for 50 metres north westbound.

This is to facilitate an electrical upgrade. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1120, Fen Lane and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C446 LOWER ROAD, CODDENHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C446 Lower Road, Coddenham from the junction with Green Hill for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Crown Comer, High Street, Lower Road, Helmingham Road, Road from

the U4707 to the U4729, Ipswich Road, Gosbeck Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2080 NACTON ROAD SERVICE ROAD AND U2011 ELMHURST DRIVE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases: 1. the U2080 Nacton Road Service Road, Ipswich from Nacton Roaoto Cliff Lane

2. the U2080 Nacton Road Service Road, Ipswich from Elmhurst Drive to Nacton Road

3. the U2011 Elmhurst Drive, Ipswich from Nacton Road to no. 34, and

4. the U2011 Elmhurst Drive, Ipswich from no. 34 to Cliff Lane.

This is to facilitate gas replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

  • Phases 1 and 2: Elmhurst Drive, Cliff Lane and vice versa

  • Phases 3 and 4: Cliff Lane, Nacton Road and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1122 Park Hill, Leiston from Cross Street for 60 metres northbound to facilitate repairing a manhole cover. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1119, the B1121, the A1094 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4624 UNION STREET EAST, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4624 Union Street East, Stowmarket from The Royal William Public House for 24 metres south eastbound to facilitate gas works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Stowupland Street, Regent Street and vice versa.

The diversion route will be Stowmarket Road, Woolpit Road, The Green, The Heath and vice versa.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION ON THE A1304 BARBARA STRADRROKE AVENUE. NEWMARKET

To enable enhanced traffic flow and public safety during the Newmarket Racecourse Events, Suffolk County Council intends to make an order imposing a 40mph temporary speed restriction on the A1304 Barbara Stradbroke Avenue, Newmarket from the county boundary north eastwards to the existing 40mph speed limit. Other measures may be introduced if necessary.

It is intended that these restrictions will operate on the dates shown below, but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C447 The Street, Great Bricett from Laburnums to The Walnut to facilitate gas service disconnection works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, Lower Farm Road, the B1078 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 15704/2024 - 17/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1113 HIGH STREET AND BRAMFORD ROAD, A1214 ROAD FROM COPDOCK MILL INTERCHANGE TO LONDON ROAD AND THE C462 BURSTALL LANE, SPROUGHTON AND IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

  • B1113 High Street, Sproughton

  • C462 Burstall Lane, Sproughton from the junction with the B1113 to Ransome Close

  • A1214 Road from the Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road, Ipswich (Northbound only) from the A14 roundabout to the Scrivener Drive roundabout.

This is to facilitate the safe transportation of abnormal loads between Felixstowe Docks and Bullen Lane, Bramford. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

  • for the B1113 High Street - the A1071, the A1214, the A14, the B1113 and vice versa

  • for the C462 Burstall Lane - Burstall Lane, Sproughton Corner, Burstall Road, the A1071 and vice versa

  • for the A1214 Road (Northbound) - the A14, the A137, the A1071, the A1214 and no vice versa

  • for the duration of this closure, there will be a prohibition of waiting on the B1113 High Street, Sproughton and a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the B1113 High Street, Sproughton and the B1113 Bramford Road, Sprougmon from High Street for 15 metres northbound.

It is intended that these measures will operate on 14/04/2024 from 12.01 am -11.59pm but, if necessary,
