ORDER 2024(N24-078)NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Rainworth in the District of Newark and Sherwood. The effects of the Order will be: 1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road: a. B6020 Warsop Lane - from its junction with Southwell Road to its junction with Blidworth Lane.
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 hours on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 Until 16:00 hours on Friday 12th April 2024 AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: B6020 Southwell Road East - Blidworth Lane and Vice versa
The Order will come into force on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
