What is happening?

(OSSINGTON ROAD, KNEESALL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

 ORDER 2024 (N24-079)NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Kneesall in the District of Newark and Sherwood. The effects of the Order will be:

1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road: - a. Ossington Road – from its junction with A616 Newark Road to its junction with School Lane.

2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading in the following length of road: - a. Ossington Road (Both sides, 08:00-15:30) – from its junction with A616 Newark Road to its junction with School Lane.

3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 hours on Thursday 4th April 2024 Until 15:30 hours on Monday 15th April 2024 AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: School Lane – A616 Newark Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into force on Thursday 4th April 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
