Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 75m north east of its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Rowherns Lane, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MT00110130906 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Colchester Road Roundabout, Bromley Road, High Street, Frating Road, Harwich Road, Rectory Road, Manningtree Road and vice versa (with access only into Church Road).
The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Errington Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Errington Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Butt Road to its junction with Maldon Road a distance of approximately 220m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd May 2024 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2358349 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Hamilton Road, Butt Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Newbridge Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newbridge Road, Tiptree in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 635m north east of its junction with Grove Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03063728602 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while disconnection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Maypole Road, Colchester Road, Maldon Road and vice versa (with access only into Smythes Green, Clears Road, Newbridge Road, Chapel Road).
The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(North Lane, Marks Tey & Brook Road, Aldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of North Lane, Marks Tey & Brook Road, Aldham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 810m north east then north west of its junction with A120 J A12 West Roundabout for a distance of approximately 105m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2359416 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Osborne Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Osborne Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Abbeygate Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310754192 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queens Head Road, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queens Head Road, Boxted in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 85m north west of its junction with Straight Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30 April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310744617 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Queens Road, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queens Road, Wivenhoe in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 20m north west of its junction with Park Road for a distance of approximately 5m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th April 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MT00110226540 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

(St Ives Road, Peldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Ives Road, Peldon in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 105m south east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163679037/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(St Osyth Road, Alresford) (Temporary Introduction of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 7.5 tonne weight restriction in that length of St Osyth Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 205m south east of its junction with Coach Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to continue from 12th April 2024 for a further 548 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003524 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public for structural reasons on behalf of Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via St Osyth Road, Tenpenny Hill, Clacton Road, Station Road, Holly Bush Hill, Dial Road, Flag Hill, Colchester Road, Bypass Road, St Johns Road, St Johns Roundabout, Little Clacton Bypass, Bovills Roundabout, Bovills Way, Little Clacton Weeley Bypass, Colchester Road Roundabout, Main Road, Frating Hill, Clacton Road, Brightlingsea Road, Clacton Road Interchange, Clacton Road, Broad Lanes and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Lane, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of No Entry) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of The Lane, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 150m south east then north east of its junction with Coast Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 'Prohibition of Entry' into The Lane as detailed in The Colchester Borough (The Lane, West Mersea) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 1991' for the duration of the above closure only. The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162008274 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

(Vineyard Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Vineyard Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 30m west of its junction with St Botolphs Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024 for 1 night (18:30-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163331222 - Anglian Water). (Water Lane, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Langham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 170m north west of its junction with Docuras Farm Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD022SPA-07333-045 - Anglian Water). (High Street, Rowhedge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Rowhedge in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Regent Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th April 2024 for 1 night (20:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF8PPK6W01GM - Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Road East, Dedham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 300m north east then south east of its junction with Jupes Hill for a distance of approximately 130m in a south easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Victory Road, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Coast Road its junction with St Peters Avenue a distance of approximately 475m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th April 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2356238 - Essex County Council).
