What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(A422 Alcester Road, Inkberrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A422 Alcester Road from its junction with A44 Spetchley Road Roundabout to its junction with A441 Evesham Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A441 Evesham Road into Warwickshire, A46 Norton Lenchwick Bypass, A44 Chadbury Bypass, A44 Worcester Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A44 Abbey View Road, A44 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-05:30) between 1 May and 8 May 2024,
