What is happening?

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL

TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(BADGERS RAKE LANE AND LEDSHAM HALL LANE, LEDSHAM AND LITTLE SUTTON) (40 MPH AND 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2024

The effect of the Order will be to:

• Introduce a 50 mph speed limit on Badgers Rake Lane - from its junction with the A540 Parkgate Road for a distance of 1,135 metres in a north easterly direction; and

• Introduce a 40 mph speed limit on Badgers Rake Lane -from a point 1,135 metres northeast of its junction with the A540 Parkgate Road to its junction with the A550 Welsh Road, a distance of approximately 1,106 metres; and Ledsham Hall Lane - from its junction with the A550 Welsh Road to its junction with Badgers Rake Lane, a distance of approximately 542 metres.

Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposal, may be viewed in the Public Notices section of the Council's website, or at The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port - CH65 0BA and Council Offices, Ground Floor Reception, The Forum, Chester between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 25th April 2024 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations made should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.
