What is happening?

Westmorland And Furness Council (C5038 Main Street And White Gill Lane, Bardsea) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:

1. C5038 Main Street, Bardsea, from its junction with Red Lane, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 220m. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5038 Main Street, and the A5087.

Duration: From 24th April 2024 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/10082)

2. White Gill Lane, Bardsea, from its junction with Orchard Road, extending in an easterly direction for approx. 40m. Alternative Route: via Red Lane, C5033 and the unrestricted section of White Gill Lane.

Duration: From 25th April 2024 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROW/10099)

The Order will come into operation on 24th April 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
