THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (C51 BORTHWICK CASTLE ROAD,
NORTH MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2024 - TTRO/R 5.4.229
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is
that for a temporary period to facilitate 40mm patching works and permanent pothole repairs, the C51 from its junction with U52 (from Vogrie Road) and U53 (from Wrights Houses to Mossend), to Borthwick Castle Road will be closed. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 15 April 2024. The work is expected to take around 2 weeks to complete.
Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.
