What is happening?

DERBY CITY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the
roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
EARLS CRESCENT, OAKWOOD, DERBY
WHEN: 15 April 2024 - 16 April 2024 WHERE: Earls Crescent, from
no 3 to no 5, for a distance of approximately 15 metres REASON:
Water works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Earls Crescent – Bishop’s Drive –
Earls Crescent and the same in the opposite direction
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use
of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
LONDON ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 29 April 2024 to 4 May 2024 (21:00 - 06:00 over night only)
WHERE: London Road, One Way closure from its junction with
Bradshaw Way roundabout to exit of Matalan carpark. A distance of
approximately 30 metres. REASON: Telecoms works ALTERNATIVE
ROUTE: Bradshaw Way – Osmaston Road – London Road.
TEMPORARY ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
HILLSWAY, DERBY
WHEN: 13 April 2024 to 14 April 2024 WHERE: Hillsway, one way
closure from its junction with Burton Road roundabout to Opposite
Derby High School gate. A distance of approximately 50 metres
from roundabout. REASON: Electrical works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Burton Road – Warwick Avenue – Stenson Road – Blagreaves Lane –
Hillsway.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the
affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the
work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring
