(B4194 Dowles Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4194 Dowles Road from its junction with
U10228 Woodthorpe Drive to its junction with U10229 Sabrina Drive.
Reason: Rectify sunken gas box by Cadent Gas Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4194 Dowles Road (into Shropshire), A4117 Cleobury Road, A456 Callow Hill, A456 Long Bank, B4190 Cleobury Road, B4190 Winbrook, B4194 Dog Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 April 2024.
(U10005 Gorst Hill Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10005 Gorst Hill Road from its junction with
C2021 Bliss Gate Road to its junction with C2193 Gorst Hill.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Bliss Gate Road, U10006 Dark Lane, C2193 Gorst Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 April 2024.
(U11318 Wilden Top Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11318 Wilden Top Road from its junction with U40000 Hillary Road to its junction with U11319 Bigbury Lane.
Reason: Lay new ducting by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11319 Bigbury Lane, C2172 Wilden Lane, U40000 Hillary Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 8 April 2024.
(U11511 Woodbury Road West, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11511 Woodbury Road West from its junction with U11510 Woodbury Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11510 Woodbury Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road, U11512 Woodbury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 29 April 2024 and 15 May 2024.
(U12137 Cobden Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12137 Cobden Street from its junction with A456 Bewdley Road to its junction with U12135 Woodfield Crescent.
Reason: Carriageway patching and resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, U12135 Woodfield Crescent, U12136 Crescent Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 29 April 2024 and 5 May 2024.
(U12160 Coventry Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12160 Coventry Street from its junction with U12160 Blackwell Street to its junction with U12159 Waterloo Street.
Reason: Repairs to cycle lane by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12160 Blackwell Street, A456 The Ringway, U12160 Coventry Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 5 April 2024.
(U11522 New Street, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11522 New Street from its junction with U11523 Martins Way to its junction with A451 Bridge Street.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Westbound Diversion: A451 High Street, U11500 Lickhill Road, U11521 Moorhall Lane. Eastbound Diversion: U11521 Moorhall Lane, U11500 Lickhill Road, A451 High Street, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 April 2024.
(A449 Chester Road South, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: A449 Chester Road South in an easterly direction from its junction with A449 Hoobrook Roundabout to its junction with A449 Spennells Valley Roundabout. Closure 2: A449 Chester Road South in a westerly direction from its junction with A449 Spennells Valley Roundabout to its junction with A449 Hoobrook Roundabout.
Reason: Bridgework inspection by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access on foot only to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: Emergency services need to follow the diversion route.
Alternative route: A442 Worcester Road, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A449 Chester Road South and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (21:00-05:00). Commencing: 29 April 2024 (1 night eastbound 29 April 2024 to 30 April 2024; 1 night westbound 30 April 2024 to 1 May 2024).
