Hospital Street, Newtown - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(HOSPITAL STREET, NEWTOWN) (17013352) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed along Hospital Street within the vicinity of 268.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate Rooftop Telecoms Equipment Upgrade. Install new equipment and removal of legacy including rigging and electrical works.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 8th April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 10 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
