TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH STOCKING PELHAM 8
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Stocking Pelham 8, footbridge north of Crabbs Green, for an approximate distance of 40m.
Alternative route: via Stocking Pelham 9 and Crabbs Lane
The purpose of the Order is to enable footbridge repair works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 05 April 2024 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASPENDEN ROAD, BUNTINGFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aspenden Road, Buntingford from its junction with Fairfield south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Abrahams Drive, a distance of approximately 157m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Aspenden Road, London Road, A10 (unnamed road), Station Road, C16 (unnamed road), 3U20 (unnamed road) and Aspenden Road.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B181 ROYDON ROAD, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B181 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its northernmost junction with A414 Eastwick Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 125m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue), A1019 (Fifth Avenue/Allende Avenue/Velizy Avenue), A1025 Third Avenue, A1169 Katherines Way, B1133 Water Lane and B181 (Epping Road/High Street/Roydon Road).
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing bridge joints is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of 3U136 (unnamed road), Wellpond Green from its junction with A120 Stortford Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with 3U40 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 803m.
An alternative route will be via A120 Stortford Road, High Street, Hadham Road and 3U40 (unnamed road).
2. that length of Frogs Hall Lane, Standon from its junction with 3U136 (unnamed road) south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 250m.
An alternative route will be via 3U136 (unnamed road), A120 Stortford Road and Frogs Hall Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD HEATH, STANSTEAD ST MARGARETS AND STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) north westwards to its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 509m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), the A414 Rush Green roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
2. the A10 northbound slip road leading from the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, Hertford Heath from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 576m.
An alternative route will be via the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, A10 (unnamed road), the A414 Rush Green roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
3. the A10 southbound slip road leading onto the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, Stanstead St Margarets from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road) south eastwards to its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 455m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road), A10 Hoddesdon Link Road roundabout, A10 (unnamed road) and the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout.
4. the A10 southbound slip road leading from the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 776m.
An alternative route will be via the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout, A10 (unnamed road), the A414 Rush Green roundabout and A10 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mentley Lane, Great Munden/C14 (unnamed road), Ardeley from its junction with C16 Great Munden north westwards, northwards, south westwards, north westwards, northwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with 3U1374 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 4294m (“the length of Roads”).
An alternative route will be via C16 Great Munden, Munden Road, Whempstead Lane, Whempstead Road, Town Lane, Church Green, Walkern Road, Benington Road, High Street, B1037 (High Street/White Hill), C14 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road and C14 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Stanstead Road, Stanstead St Margarets/Hoddesdon from its junction with Hoddesdon Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Lillard Close, a distance of approximately 542m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Hoddesdon Road, B181 Station Road, A1170 Ware Road, Middlefield Road and Stanstead Road or via Stanstead Road, Burford Street, A1170 Dinant Link Road/Amwell Street/Ware Road), B181 Station Road and Hoddesdon Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the A414 westbound slip road leading onto B181 Roydon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with the westbound carriageway of A414 Eastwick Road south westwards to its junction with B181 Roydon Road, a distance of approximately 656m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A414 Eastwick Road and B181 (Station Road/ High Street/Roydon Road).
The Order is needed because structure maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the eastbound carriageway of B194 New Nazeing Road into Old Nazeing Road, Broxbourne, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via B194 New Nazeing Road and Old Nazeing Road.
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Old Nazeing Road into the eastbound carriageway of B194 New Nazeing Road, Broxbourne, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Old Nazeing Road and B194 New Nazeing Road.
3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from the westbound carriageway of B194 New Nazeing Road into Old Nazeing Road, Broxbourne, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via B194 New Nazeing Road, A1170 High Road, the Bell Lane roundabout, A1170 High Road, B194 New Nazeing Road and Old Nazeing Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of St Marys Lane, Hertingfordbury from its southernmost junction with Hertingfordbury Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with B158 Lower Hatfield Road, a distance of approximately 1412m.
An alternative route will be via Hertingfordbury Road, A414 (Hertingfordbury Road/Gascoyne Way) and B158 (Hale Road/Pegs Lane/Bullocks Lane/Horns Mill Road/Lower Hatfield Road).
2. that length of Station Road, Letty Green from its junction with Letty Green north westwards to its junction with Cole Green, a distance of approximately 269m.
An alternative route will be via Letty Green, Station Road, B158 (Lower Hatfield Road/Horns Mill Road/Bullocks Lane/Pegs Lane/Hale Road), A414 (Gascoyne Way/Hertingfordbury Road/Cole Green Bypass), Hertingfordbury Road, The Old Coach Road and Cole Green.
ADDITIONALLY the existing 7.5 tonnes weight restriction on Birchall Lane/ The Old Coach Road, Cole Green from its junction with the A414 Cole Green Bypass/B195 Birchall Lane roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Hertingfordbury Road, a distance of approximately 2530m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of roads, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. An alternative route will be via Lord Street, Taverners Way, Pauls Lane, Amwell Street, A1170 Amwell Street, B1197 (Hertford Road/London Road), A414 London Road, Mangrove Road, Mangrove Lane, Goose Green Lord Street and Lord Street.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (LONDON ROAD AND VIADUCT ROAD, WARE) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NOTICE (LONDON ROAD, WARE) 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Ware as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. It is also proposed under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to construct a Zebra pedestrian crossing facility on that length of London Road, Ware as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
