Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate kiosk upgrade works on behalf of SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Highfield Road, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Highfield Road will be closed to vehicular traffic north-east bound between its junctions with Purley Way and Ensign Close.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Highfield Road, Plough Lane, Foxley Lane and Purley Way.
4. The Order will come into operation on 23 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

Temporary Restriction Of Traffic & Parking
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in the roads specified in this notice.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the following roads or sections of road will be closed on the dates shown:
a) Warwick Road at its junction with London Road (A23) - 04 April to 04 August 2024.
b) Melfort Road, from its junction with Braemar Avenue to its junction with Strathyre Avenue - 04 April to 03 May 2024.
c) Braemar Avenue, at its junction with Melfort Road - 04 April to 05 July 2024.
d) Braemar Avenue from its junction with Bridport Road to its junction with Melfort Road - 04 April to 05 July 2024.
e) Braemar Avenue, at its junction with Bridport Road - 04 April to 05 July 2024.
f) Bridport Road from its junction with Warwick Road to its junction with Braemar Avenue - 03 June to 05 July 2024.
g) Warwick Road from its junction with Bridport Road to its junction with Wiltshire Road - 04 April to 04 August 2024.
h) Warwick Road from its junction with Wiltshire Road to its junction with St Stephens Crescent - 04 April to 04 August 2024.
i) Warwick Road between its easternmost junction with St Stephens Crescent (adjacent to No. 27 Warwick Road) and its junction with London Road - 04 April to 04 August 2024.
3. During the works parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" will apply in the above closure areas.
4. Whilst the works are taking place any other traffic management measures required to facilitate them will be introduced as necessary.
5. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Residents' access will be maintained.
6. The Order will come into operation on 04 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in phases as shown above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Section 16a As Amended By The Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events! Act 1994 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order
Playstreet Closures - Woodside Road. Purley
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close Woodside Road, Purley, to vehicular traffic at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a playstreet.
2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this notice no person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed in Woodside Road.
3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for residents, or pedestrians accessing any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade, or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
5. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Smitham Downs Road, Smitham Bottom Lane, Woodcote Valley Road, Manor Wood Road and reversed.
6. The Order will come into effect on 07 April 2024 and will be reintroduced at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by Thames Water in South Norwood Hill at the junction of High Street, South Norwood, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict heavy goods traffic turning into South Norwood Hill.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Heavy Good Vehicles (HGVs) will be banned from turning from the High Street, South Norwood, into South Norwood Hill.
3. Whilst the restrictions are in force the diversion routes for HGVs will be via the routes below.
- South-westbound - Via Manor Road, Portland Road, Lower Addiscombe Road, Shirley Road, Addiscombe Road, Chepstow Road, Fairfield Road, Barclay Road, The Croydon Flyover, Pump Pail South, Old Town, Roman Way, Mitcham Road, Sumner Road, St James Road, Windmill Road, Whitehorse Road, and Whitehorse Lane.
- North-eastbound - Via High Street South Norwood, Penge Road, Croydon Road, Anerley Road, Anerley Hill, and Church Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 19 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) Any HGV involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) Any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic on the roads specified in this notice.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the following roads or sections of road will be closed in phases as follows.
a) Violet Gardens from its junction with Goodwin Road to No. 35 Violet Gardens.
b) Goodwin Road from its junction with Crowley Crescent to its junction with Violet Gardens.
c) Houlder Crescent from its junction with Thorneloe Gardens to No. 39 Houlder Crescent.
d) Coldharbour Road from No. 1 Coldharbour Road to its junction with Fleming Court.
3. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as specified below.
- Violet Gardens Closure: Diversion via Violet Lane, Goodwin Road.
- Goodwin Road Closure: Diversion via Waddon Way, Purley Way, Waddon Way, Foss Avenue, Crowley Crescent.
- Houlder Crescent Closure: Diversion via Goodwin Road, Waddon Way
- Coldharbour Road Closure: Diversion via Denning Avenue, Purley Way, Coldharbour Way.
