Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council with the agreement of TfL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a district meter exchange on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Queensway, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Queensway will be closed westbound from its junction with Purley Way to the roundabout adjacent to No. 2 Queensway, Croydon.
3. During the closure, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be via Purley Way, Russell Hill Road, Brighton Road, Banstead Road, Foxley Lane, Purley Way, Stafford Road and Kings Way (southbound), or via Purley Way and Stafford Road (northbound).
4. The Order will come into operation on 11 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install underground cables on behalf of UK Power Networks they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Shoreham Close.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Shoreham Close will be closed outside No. 56.
3. During the closure access will be provided as necessary by operatives on site.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Croydon Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Section 16a As Amended By The Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order Play Street Closures - Westfield Avenue-South Croydon
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close the section of Westfield Avenue, South Croydon, specified in this notice, to vehicular traffic at the times and on the dates specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a play street.
2. During the dates and times specified in the Schedule to this notice Westfield Avenue will be closed between its junctions with Court Hill and Rectory Park.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Westfield Avenue, Court Hill, Brian Avenue, Shaw Crescent, Glebe Hyrst and Rectory Park and reversed, or via Rectory Park, Hyde Road, Copthorne Rise and Westfield Avenue.
3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or
adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.
4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:
a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
5. The Order will come into effect on Sunday 21 April 2024, during the times shown in the Schedule to this notice and will be reintroduced on the dates and at the times shown in that Schedule.

Temporary Restriction Of Vehicular Traffic & Parking
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to repair a defective pipe and install a manhole, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Keen's Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) The road will be closed to vehicles outside No. 22 Keen's Road.
b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" outside Nos. 16 to 20 and outside Nos. 22 to 26 Keen's Road.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be as detailed below.
- Anticlockwise: Via Lower Coombe Street and Southbridge Road.
- Clockwise: Via Lower Coombe Street, South End, Parker Road and Southbridge Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 04 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within twelve days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restrictions will not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic & Parking
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Keston Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Keston Road will be closed between its junctions with Thornton Road and Ramsey Road.
b) Parking bays on both sides of the road between the southeastern (rear) boundary of No. 185 Thornton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Keston Road will be suspended, and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Thornton Road, Harcourt Road and Ramsey Road and reversed, as appropriately signposted.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 16 April 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Temporary Restriction Of Vehicular Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate waste meter replacement works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Tilford Avenue.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Tilford Avenue will be closed southbound at its junction with King Henry's Drive.
3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via Castlehill Avenue and Betchworth Way, as appropriately signposted.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 April 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Road Traffic Regulation Act. 1984. Section 14 As Amended And The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Poplar Walk. Croydon Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate footway works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Poplar Walk, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Poplar Walk will be closed to vehicles between the northeastern boundary of No. 128 North End and the delivery entrance to Whitgift Shopping Centre.
b) The north-western footway of Poplar Walk will be closed between the north-eastern boundary of No. 128 North End and a point opposite the delivery entrance to Whitgift Shopping Centre.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Tamworth Road, Drummond Road, Reeves Corner, Roman Way, Old Town, The Croydon Flyover and Park Lane. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 22 April 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 10 May 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
