What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(CHURCH END ROAD, HAYNES)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Church End Road, Haynes.

This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing and lining works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 22 April to 3 May 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Plummers Lane, Silver End Road, A600, A507, A6, Old Main Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 22 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(MOUNT PLEASANT, ASPLEY GUISE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Mount Pleasant, Aspley Guise outside numbers 9 to 11.

This temporary closure is required to enable telecommunication works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 23 to 25 April 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Bedford Road, School Lane, Turnpike Road, Horsepool Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 23 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(MILLARDS CLOSE, FLITWICK)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Millards Close, Flitwick.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 18 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order will come into operation on 18 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(SNOW HILL AND SANDYACRES, MAULDEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full lengths of Snow Hill and Sandyacres, Maulden.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on Snowhill on 19 April 2024 and Sandyacres on 20 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The roads will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order will come into operation on 19 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 19 April 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Ampthill Road, Flitwick Road, A507, B530, Church Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 19 April 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
