(Remote footway Stile Croft, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close remote footway Stile Croft, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from Little Brays, west for approximately 41 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 08 April 2024 to 19 April 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 08 April 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Epping Road, Roydon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping Road, Roydon in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Low Hill Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140GCX001385-CW - Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
An alternative route is available via Epping Road, Epping Road Roundabout, Water Lane, Southern Way, Katherine's Way, Third Avenue, Elizabeth Way, A414 Between Northern Town Boundary And Burnt Mill Roundabout, Fifth Avenue, Eastwick Road, Roydon Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Galleyhill Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Galleyhill Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Parklands for a distance of approximately 185m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024 for 6 nights (19:00 - 05;00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2361026 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Pynest Green Lane, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pynest Green Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 110m south west of its junction with Wellington Hill for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30007465796 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Wellington Hill, Manor Road, Road Between Manor Road And Avey Lane, Avey Lane and vice versa (with access only into Pynest Green Lane and Wellington Hill).
The Order will come into effect on 11th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Lane, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 April 2024 for 24 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30089347469 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Hatfield Heath Road, Sheering Road, Matching Road, Downhall Road, Matching Tye Road and vice versa (with access only into Church Lane and Harlow Road).
The Order came into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hemnall Street, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Grove Lane, Epping) (Temporary Suspension of One Way Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hemnall Street, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Grove Lane, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from Hemnall Street towards High Street as detailed in The County Council of Essex (Grove Lane, Epping) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1970' for the duration of the closure.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 20th April 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06056828/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Kendal Avenue, Hartland Road, Station Road and vice versa (with access only into Hemnall Street).
The Order came into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mott Street, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mott Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 210m south east of its junction with Sewardstone Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th April 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU091NLS00081230521-0135 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by Thames Water.
An alternative route is available via Mott Street, Sewardstone Road, Avey Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mount Road, Theydon Mount) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mount Road, Theydon Mount in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 390m south east of its junction with Mount End Road for a distance of approximately 300m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2359574 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Mount Road, Epping Lane, Hobbs Cross Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(School Road, Stanford Rivers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 70m north west of its junction with Old Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 205m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th April 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410225916 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cut off supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via School Road, Church Road, London Road, Romford Road, Stanford Rivers Road, Coopers Hill, The Borough, Greensted Road, Drapers Corner, Mutton Row, Toot Hill Road and vice versa (with access only into School Road).
The Order came into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Toot Hill Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Toot Hill Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 100m south west of its junction with Greensted Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th April 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410225024 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via School Road, Church Road, London Road, Romford Road, Stanford Rivers Road, Coopers Hill, The Borough, Greensted Road and vice versa (with access only into School Road and Toot Hill Road).
The Order came into effect on 28th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Woollard Street/Milton Street, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Woollard Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Milton Street for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Milton Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Woollard Street for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly then north easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 15th April 2024 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30075982868/EC30018783669 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
