Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) Temporary Road Closure And Temporary Introduction Of One-Way Traffic System Edgwarebury Lane HA8

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate the installation of ducts, they have made an Order which will:

(a) temporarily close Edgwarebury Lane HA8 at the junction of A1 Edgware Way for southbound traffic only, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily introduce a one-way traffic system on Edgwarebury Lane HA8, between the north arm of Fairveiw Way and the south arm of Fairview Way for vehicles traveling northbound only along Edgwarebury Lane, while the works take place. The Order will commence at 10pm on Monday 8th April 2024 and is expected to last for 1 night.

The alternative routes for motorists will be via A41 Watford By Pass, Spur Road, A5 Stonegrove, Station Road, Hale Lane and vice versa.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable, Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform or a Traffic Warden in uniform.
