EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(11 Cross Street, Galston) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 2nd April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted
Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order
2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed
Order to allow Building Refurbishment Works.
No Waiting At Any Time - 11 Cross Street, Galston, from end double yellow lines for
approx 20m.
The Order commences on 29 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or
until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence
from 29 April 2024 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 29 July 2024 at
16:30. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but
the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(U63 Whatriggs Road, Kilmarnock - Bellfield)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 2nd April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made
the above- named Order, to allow Bridge Repairs on behalf of Amey OW Limited.
Temporary Road Closure – U63 Whatriggs Road, Kilmarnock - Bellfield, Whatriggs
Road Overbridge Length of road to be closed 110m.
The Order commences on 21 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to
commence from 21 April 2024 at 18:00 with the closure remaining in place until 26
May 2024 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but
the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries will be maintained via
diversion route. An alternative route will be signed via:
From East approach to bridge diverted traffic shall: -Follow U63 to A76, taking left
toward Bellfield Interchange - At Bellfield Interchange, traffic shall take 3rd exit
onto Queens Drive. - At roundabout traffic will take 1st exit onto B7072 Hurlford
Road - After approx. 1 mile traffic will take left onto New Street. - Traffic will follow
New Street onto Whatriggs Road. - After approx. 0.5 miles traffic will take 2nd exit
at roundabout onto Merrick Road. - Follow Merrick Road before taking left onto
Lammermuir Road - At roundabout traffic will take second exit onto Whatriggs Road
For traffic on West approach traffic will do the above route in reverse.

(Various Roads , Kilmarnock) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 2nd April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted
Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012
and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named
Order to allow waiting restrictions to be put in place on match days at Rugby Park Kilmarnock.
No Waiting At Any Time - Various Roads, Kilmarnock.
Arrothill Drive For full length of road (both sides)
Galrigside Road For full length of road (both sides)
Harperland Drive For full length of road (both sides)
Rowanhill Place For full length of road (both sides)
Mount Avenue For full length of road (both sides)
Mount Place For full length of road (both sides)
Holmes Road For full length of road (both sides)
Holmes Crescent For full lenghth of road (both sides)
Farlie Avenue For full lenghth of road (both sides)
Westmoor Crescent For full length of road (both sides)
Aird Avenue For full length of road (both sides)

The Order commences on 10 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
From 10 April 2024 at 08:00 until 09 October 2025 at 15:00.
The restrictions will on be implemented on match days when the appropriate signs
are displayed.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Ellisland Square, Ayr - Forehill)
(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 28 March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted
Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order
2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed
Order to allow Scottish Power Works.
Road Closure – Ellisland Square - From 24 to 58 Ellisland Square.
No Waiting At Any Time – Ellisland Square - From 24 to 58 Ellisland Square.
The Order commences on 01 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to
commence from 01 May 2024 at 08:00 until 14 May 2024 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the
Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route for Diversion via Ellisland Place.
