Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
D287 BRETTS HALL ESTATE & D291 ANSLEY COMMON,
NUNEATON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Bretts
Hall Estate closed in its entirety from its junction with the B4114
Ansley Common, Ansley Common closed in its entirety from its
junction with Bretts Hall Estate.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works,
08.00hrs-17.00 hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: No Suitable diversions.

D146 HOARESTONE AVENUE AND D1466 CHETWYND DRIVE,
NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed between Whitestone Road and Ross Way.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, closed
08.00hrs-17.00 hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Chetwynd Drive, Lutterworth Road, Whitestone
Road and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where
possible to businesses and residents only.

HAZELL WAY, THE BRIDLEWAY, BERMUDA VILLAGE,
AND BERMUDA ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic. Please Note: Works
will be carried out in phases.
Reason for Order: Construction of splitter islands in the vicinity
and road resurfacing along The Bridleway.
Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Bermuda Road, Heath End Road, Bull Ring,
College Street, Griff Way, Coventry Road, St Georges Way, Bermuda
Bridge and vice versa.

MARRIOTT ROAD AND WILDEY ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to abandon old gas mains and install
new ones.
Order Commences: 9 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 May 2024.
Access & Diversion: Wildey Road – Marriott Road, Astley Lane and
vice versa.
Marriott Road – Marriott Road, Smorrall Lane, Astley Lane and
vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH AE183 IN THE PARISH OF CALDECOTE
Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic at Grid Reference
SP35539 94346.
Reason for Order: Construction works as part of Hinckley to
Hartshill pipeline project – installation of sewer.
Order Commences: 8 April 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 October 2024.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
EDWARD STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Repair and replacement of defective manhole
frame and cover.
Order Commences: 23 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Edward Street, Henry Street, Bull Ring, College
Street, Greenmoor Road, Croft Road, Queens Road and vice versa.

WOODLANDS ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside
land adjacent to 99.
Reason for Order: To enable works for a new mains foul connection.
Order Commences: 22 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Woodlands Road, Woodlands Lane, Bedworth
Lane, Astley Lane, Smorrall Lane, Heath Road, Newtown Road and
vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and
egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of
road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.
