What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
MAIN STREET, MARKFIELD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends
not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order
will come into force on 22/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of
1 month. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected
and may last for up to 10 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
is being enforced for public safety to allow STW & their contractors to
facilitate installation of new apparatus. Any existing waiting restrictions
imposed on those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this
Order are hereby temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.

of Park Ave on both sides of the carriageway.
KINGSWAY, BRAUNSTONE TOWN
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The Order will come into force on 06/04/2024 and have a maximum
duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period
of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are
erected and may last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation
Order is being enforced for public safety to allow National Grid Electricity
Distribution to undertake infrastructure installations. The proposed
diversion route will be via: Turnbull Dr, Edward Ave, Fernhurst Rd and
vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The Order will come into force on 08/04/2024 and have a maximum
duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period
of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are
erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation
Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd
undertake works on a new connection and any other various Utility
works also including Leicestershire County Council to carry out various
highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be
via: Bradgate Ave, Sandiacre Dr & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County has made
an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order
will come into force on 08/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of
3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and
may last for up to 10 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is
being enforced for public safety to allow National Grid to undertake
repair and maintenance work. The proposed diversion route will be via:
Roehampton Dr, Yardley Dr, Highgate Dr, Leicester Rd, Glen Parva.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order
will come into force on 09/04/2024 and have a maximum duration of
6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order.
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected
and may last for up to 7 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd
undertake Fire Hydrant replacement works and any other utility works
including Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway
maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Sibson Rd,
A6 Loughborough Rd, Red Hill Roundabout & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The Order will come into force on 06/04/2024 and have a maximum
duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period
of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are
erected and may last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation
Order is being enforced for public safety to allow City Fibre to excavate
and install new infrastructure. The proposed diversion route will be via:
St Thomas Rd, Saffron Rd, Wigston; Saffron Ln, Glenhills Boulevard,
Lutterworth Rd, Leicester City; Leicester Rd, Glen Parva.
