Beaumont Leys Lane - Temporary Road Restrictions For Highway Development Works

THE LEICESTER (BEAUMONT LEYS LANE) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Beaumont Leys Lane between its junctions with Parker Drive and with Abbey Lane from 7.30am on Monday 8th April 2024 until 11.59pm on Sunday 2nd June 2024.
Diversion route: Parker Drive, Blackbird Road, Abbey Lane.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles in a westbound direction on Beaumont Leys Lane at its junction with Abbey Lane from 7.30am on Monday 3rd June 2024 until 11.59pm on Sunday 16th June 2024.
Diversion route: Abbey Lane, Blackbird Road, Parker Drive; Abbey Lane, Red Hill Way, Beaumont Leys Lane.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Corporation Road at its junction with Abbey Lane from 9.30am until 3.00pm each day from Monday 20th May 2024 until Sunday 2nd June 2024.
Diversion route: Abbey Lane, Exploration Drive, Corporation Drive.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Beaumanor Road at its junction with Corporation Road from 9.30am until 3.00pm each day from Monday 20th May 2024 until Sunday 2nd June 2024.
Diversion route: Rose Street, Anchor Street.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Exploration Drive at its junction with Corporation Drive from 7.30am on Monday 15th April 2024 until 11.59pm on Sunday 12th May 2024.
Diversion route: Abbey Lane, Corporation Drive.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Wallingford Road at its junction with Corporation Road from 7.30am on Monday 13th May 2024 until 11.59pm on Tuesday 7th October 2025.
This order is necessary to facilitate highway development works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 8th April 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
