The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places)

Consolidation Order 2021

(Amendment No. 9) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 121A and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on the 27th March 2024 made the above Order, the effect of which will be to:

1. Install double yellow lines; i) on the bend opposite Nos. 37 to 43 Felstead Avenue IG5; ii) in Aldborough Court IG2, both sides, between Aldborough Road North and Eastern Avenue;

2. Convert the existing free bay in Woodlands Road IG1 outside Nos.83/85 to single yellow line operating Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm;

3. Revoke existing underlying waiting and parking restrictions at all locations mentioned in sections 1 to 2 of this notice.

4. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 29th March 2024, together with the Council's statement of reasons for making the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the locations and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays).

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
