Order made: To close that part of U62002 Hawthorn Lane from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with C2103 Upper Woodsfield.
Reason: Overhead cabling works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2103 Upper Woodsfield, C2102 Newland, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 4 April 2024.
(B4211 Wells Road/B4211 Church Street, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: B4211 Wells Road from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace to its junction with B4211 Church Street; Closure 2: B4211 Church Street from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace to its junction with C2232 Graham Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Worcester Road, B4208 Townsend Way, B4208 North End Lane, B4208 Pickersleigh Road, B4211 Barnards Green Road and vice versa.

(U63100 St Anns Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63100 St Anns Road from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with U63150 St Anns Road (service road).
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Belle Vue Terrace, A449 Wells Road, U63100 Foley Terrace, U63100 St Anns Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 22 April 2024 and 3 May 2024.
(U63106 Thirlstane Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024 Order made: To close that part of U63106 Thirlstane Road from its junction with U63105 College Road for a distance of 390 metres in an east south easterly direction.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63105 College Road, U63103 Priory Road, U63111 Woodshears Road, U63110 Court Road, U63105 College Road, U63103 Priory Road, U63111 Woodshears Road, U63110 Court Road, U63106 Thirlstane Road and vice versa.

(B4211 Yardbridge, Holdfast) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4211 Yardbridge from its junction with U61028 Heath Hill to its junction with U61026 Marsh Lane.
Reason: Utility Work by Severn Trent water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4211 Longdon, A438 Long Green, A438 Upper Pendock, A438 Berrow, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Castlemorton Common, B4208 Gloucester Road, A4104 Drake Street, A4104 Welland Road, B4211 Tunnel Hill, B4211 Gloucester Road, B4211 Holdfast and vice versa.

(C2207 Old Hollow, West Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2207 Old Hollow from its junction with U63545 Old Hollow to its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Road.
Reason: Replacement of street lighting column by Prysmian Cables and Systems.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Road, U63531 Belvoir Bank, C4232 West Malvern Road, U63545 Old Hollow and vice versa.
Emergency Services to use the alternative route. The road is too narrow for extra vehicles to pass in a quick time.

(U63337 Langland Avenue, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U63337 Langland Avenue from its junction with C2260 Madresfield Road for a distance of 40 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Replacement of dropped kerbs and tactiles by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63337 Langland Avenue, U63338 Orford Way, C2260 Madresfield Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 2 April 2024.
(B4208 Pickersleigh Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: B4208 Pickersleigh Road from its junction U63252 Mayflower Close to its junction with B4211 Avenue Road. Closure 2: B4211 Avenue Road from its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road to its junction with B4211 Barnards Green Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63217 St James Road from its junction with U63211 Cockshot Road to its junction with U63206 Albert Road North.
Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Closure 2: U63228 Cedar Avenue from its junction with U63228 & U63229 Meadow Road (southerly junction) to its junction with U63229 Meadow Road (northerly junction).

(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63200 Edith Walk from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace for a distance of 75 metres in an easterly direction and to temporarily suspend Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 to allow access for the duration of the works.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63438 Greenfields Road from its junction with C2205 Upper Howsell Road to its junction with U63434 Jamaica Road.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2205 Upper Howsell Road from its junction with U63502 Yates Hay Road for a distance of 205 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63502 Yates Hay Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, C2205 Tanhouse Lane and vice versa.

(U63204 Victoria Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63204 Victoria Road from its junction with U63206 Albert Road North to its junction with B4211 Church Street.
Reason: Carriageway surfacing dressing in multiple phases by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63206 Albert Road North, B4211 Church Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 22 April 2024 and 13 May 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (A449 Worcester Road, Malvern) (Temporary 10 mph Speed Limit) Order) 2024
Proposed order: To impose a temporary 10 mph speed limit on that part of A449 Worcester Road from its junction with B4211 Church Street for a distance of 350 metres in a northerly direction to its junction with B4211 Church Street for a distance of 250 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 21 April 2024 and 5 May 2024
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Clarence Road, Malvern) Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Malvern:-
Clarence road (south side) - From a point 52m east of its junction with Priory Road for 60m in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
