What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Cotton Lane, Greenhithe, DA9 9BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cotton Lane, Greenhithe, on or after 23rd April 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the Electricity Distribution Centre and 12 Orchard Terrace.
The alternative route is via Cotton Lane, Elizabeth Street, Church Hill, Stone Place Road, A226 London Road and vice versa.
Elizabeth Street, Greenhithe, DA9 9PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elizabeth Street, Greenhithe, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lads of the Village.
The alternative route is via Church Hill, Stone Place Road, A226 London Road, B2228 Cotton Lane and vice versa.
Elizabeth Street, Greenhithe, DA9 9PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new sewer connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elizabeth Street, Greenhithe, on or after 24th April 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lads of the Village.
The alternative route is via Elizabeth Street, Church Hill, Stone Place Road, A226 London Road, Cotton Lane and vice versa.
Great Queen Street, Dartford, DA1 1QD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Great Queen Street, Dartford, on or after 8th April 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between A226 East Hill and Little Queen Street.
The alternative route is via A226 East Hill, St Albans Road, Colney Road, Great Queen Street and vice versa.
