What is happening?

SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES 
(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2017 (AMENDMENT NO. 35) ORDER 2024 
(Order 17 of 2024) (PROPOSED ORDER) AND THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 17) ORDER (Order 17 of 2024)
Sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and 
Regulation 7 of the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) 
(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 as amended.
1. SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL gives notice that it proposes to make Orders under sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and any other enabling powers. The effects of the Orders are set out below.
2. A new “N” Zone parking zone covering all of Vale Grove and Winvale. In addition, the Orders also amends restrictions on Albert Street, New Square, Slough Road and Windsor Road and creates a limited waiting bay on Windsor Road and creates a one way system in Windsor Road.
3. The Orders would introduce resident parking places and waiting restrictions operating on all days and at all times in these roads and introduces waiting and loading restrictions operating on all days and at all times.

Properties eligible for the issue of permits are set out in the Schedule below.

4. Copies of the proposed Orders, this notice and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Orders may be inspected free of charge at the Council’s offices during normal working hours (excluding bank and public holidays). They may also be inspected on the Council’s website at

5. Anyone wishing to object to the proposed Orders may do by writing to the address below or emailing

parking.consultations@slough.gov.uk

The objection must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, and must be sent so as to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice.
