THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS

(A579 WINWICK LANE AND WINWICK LANE SERVICE ROAD)

(24 HOUR CLEARWAY – NO STOPPING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that St. Helens Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 proposes to make an Order, the effect of which will be as described in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE 1 – 24hr CLEARWAY – NO STOPPING AT ANY TIME (MAIN CARRIAGEWAY)

From its Administerial Boundary with Warrington Borough Council in a south-westerly direction to and including its roundabout with the A579/Parkside Link Road (East) roundabout.

From its Administerial Boundaries with Warrington Borough Council for its entire lengths including the extents of all turning areas.

A copy of the Order may be requested from the council by emailing traffic@sthelens.gov.uk or by writing to the Traffic Engineering Section, Place Services Department, Town Hall, Corporation Street, St Helens WA10 1HP.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed changes must do so in writing to the undersigned, stating the grounds of objection, within a period of 21 days from the date of this notice.
