What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary
Traffic Orders:
VARIOUS ROADS NORTH WARWICKSHIRE – SURFACE DRESSING
2024
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic and a 10mph speed
restriction imposed on the roads as indicated in the scheduled below:
Reason for Order: The closures/temporary speed limits are required
to facilitate carriageway surface dressing works including the removal
and replacement of road studs, pre surface dressing patching,
replacement of road markings, sand carpeting and road sweeping.
Order Commences: 2 April 2024 for up to 18 months. It is anticipated
that each road will be closed for no more than six individual days
during the period indicated.
Anticipated Completion: 31 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Diversion routes will be appropriately signed.
Please Note: All closures/speed limits will be indicated by advance
signage.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following

B4114 BLYTHE ROAD, COLESHILL/SHUSTOKE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between High Street
and Station Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works,
09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.
Order Commences: 15 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Northbound Traffic: B4114 Birmingham Road,
A446, A452, B4102 (Hampton Lane, Fillongley Road, Meriden Road),
B4098 Tamworth Road, B4114 (Nuneaton Road, Coleshill Road).
Southbound Traffic: B4114 (Coleshill Road, Nuneaton Road), B4098
Tamworth Road, B4102 (Fillongley Road, Meriden Road), B4104
Birmingham Road, A45, A452, A446, B4114 Birmingham Road.

OVER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Nuneaton
Road closed between Sandy Lane and Mill Lane, Tamworth Road
closed between B4114 Nuneaton Road/Atherstone Lane and Daw
Mill Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works,
20.00hrs-06.00hrs weeknights only.
Order Commences: 17 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: B4114 Coleshill Road, Church Road, Blythe
Road, Birmingham Road, A446, A452, B4102 (Hampton Lane,
Fillongley Road, Meriden Road, Nuneaton Road, Park Lane, Astley
Lane), B4112 (Ansley Road, Birmingham Road, Nuneaton Road) and
vice versa.

C6 MONKS PARK LANE, MANCETTER
Order Effect: Road closed between Coleshill Road and Ridge Lane/
Birchley Heath Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 15 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Ridge Lane, Pipers Lane, B4114 (Coleshill Road,
Camphill Road), B4111 (Mancetter Road, Atherstone Road, Nuneaton
Road), Mancetter Road, B4116 Witherley Road, Woolpack Way, South
Street, Coleshill Road and vice versa.
Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and
residents only.

C7 GYPSY LANE, DORDON & C7 LOWER HOUSE LANE,
BADDESLEY ENSOR
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic between the A5 Watling
Street and the entrance to the Lower House Farm Household Waste
& Recycling Centre.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works,
20.00hrs-06.00hrs, weeknights only.
Order Commences: 15 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: A5 Watling Street, Merevale Lane, Wigston Hill,
Atherstone Lane, Knowle Hill, Brickkiln Lane, Hurley Common,
Tamworth Road and vice versa.

LONG STREET ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from outside No.71.
Reason for Order: Installation of a new water connection.
Order Commences: 14 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Long Street, Station Street, South Street,
Woolpack Way and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress
from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be
closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be
maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DORDON ROAD, WHITEHOUSE ROAD, BIRCHWOOD AVENUE,
DORDON) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the above named
Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which
will be to impose a 20mph speed limit on the lengths of road as
described in the Schedule below.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the
lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons
for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the Main
Reception Shire Hall, Warwick during usual opening hours or online at
https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20206/north-warwickshireborough.

SCHEDULE 1
1. Dordon Road from its junction with Birchmoor Road/Fairfields
Hill to its junction with Whitehouse Road – Existing 30mph to
become 20mph.
(i) In its entirety.
2. Whitehouse Road from its junction with Dordon Road to its junction
with Bardon View Road – Existing 30mph to become 20mph.
(ii) From the northern boundary fence of 113 Whitehouse Road to
the centre line of the boundary between House Nos 87 & 89
Whitehouse Road before its junction with Bardon View Road in
a south easterly direction for 150.45m.
3. Birchwood Avenue from its junction with Dordon Road to its
junction with Coppice Drive – Existing 30mph to become 20mph.
(iii) From the Give Way Line with Dordon Road to the centre
boundary line opposite House No 18 & 18A Birchwood Avenue
before its junction with Coppice Road, in a southerly direction
for 111.8m.
