The reason for the said closures is for Ash Dieback Tree Works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 2nd April 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. The Roads are expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm.Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C197 HIGH STREET TOADSMOOR ROAD (UPTON ST LEONARDS PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C197 High Street from Portway Phoros to outside the property known as ‘Rosebank’ for a distance of approximately 74 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus maintenance and repair works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF THE C104 - ROAD FROM FORD BANK TO TADDINGTON (STANWAY PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C104 Road from Ford Bank to Taddington from its junction with the B4077 to its junction with Cutsdean Road, for a total distance of approximately 349 metres.
The reason for the intended closure is for pole testing works.
The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 12th April 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH AS0 7 (STOKE ORCHARD PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ASO 7 in the Parish of Stoke Orchard from its junction with Bozard Lane extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 90 metres.
The said Public Footpath falls within the Parish of Stoke Orchard in the Tewkesbury Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst solar farm construction works are completed. The Order will come into force on the 18th April 2024, and it is anticipated that the said Public Footpath will remain closed until 18th October 2024. After this date, if the closure is still required, it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 22nd May 2024. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ETW 6 (TWIGWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Amended Notice replacing Notice issued 25th May 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that The Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ETW 6 from a point approximately 65 metres north of Orchard Park extending in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 185 metres to its junction with EHD 19
The closure is to ensure public safety as the construction phase of the project has been delayed due to Archaeology works.
The Order originally came into force on the 25th November 2019. At that point it was anticipated that works would be completed by 25th May 2020. However, this did not happen. It was necessary to request an extension of time from The Secretary of State for Transport, who granted an extension until 24th May 2022, and again until 24th May 2023. Works have still not been completed and a further extension has now been applied for and granted by the Secretary of State until the 24th November 2024 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
Alternative Route: There is no alternative route. Pedestrian access to adjoining premises and emergency access is to be maintained.
