THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, MIDLOTHIAN)

(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (VARIATION NO 1) ORDER 2024 - TO/R5.3.96

The Council on 25 March 2024 made the above Order, which will come into force on 29 April 2024.  The effect, as stated in the Advertiser dated 22 February 2024, is to apply a 40 mph speed limit to the entire length of C36 Old Pentland Road / Pentland Road between the A701 and A702 roads.  Details may be examined until 6 May 2024 at Council Libraries, at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 25 March 2024 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
