A462 CANNOCK ROAD ANDA462 ESSINGTON ROAD, NEW IVENTION 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping along that length of carriageway specified below:

• That length of A462 Cannock Road, New Invention that is situated at its junction with A4124 Lichfield Road

• That length of A462 Essington Road, New Invention that is situated at its junction with A4124 Lichfield Road.

A temporary ‘No stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the work. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed (for vehicles using A462 Essington Road) via A4124 Lichfield Road, A4124 Sneyd Lane, B4210 Broad Lane and A462 Bursnips Road and vice versa, and (for vehicles using A462 Cannock Road) via A4124 Lichfield Road, A4124 Lakefield Road, A4124 Wednesfield Way, Neachells Lane, A454 Willenhall Road, B4464 Somerford Place, B4464 New Road, B4464 Walsall Street, B4464 Walsall Road, A462 Clarkes Lane, A462 Sandbeds Road, A462 High Road, A462 Straight Road, A462 Coltham Road and A462 Wesley Road and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5512) will come into operation on Tuesday 16 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier.

The prohibition of traffic and no stopping is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake carriageway patching work in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place between the hours of 1900 (7.00 pm) and 0600 (6.00 am) only from Tuesday 16 April 2024 to Thursday 18 April 2024.

BENTLEY ROAD SOUTH, BENTLEY

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping along that length of carriageway specified below:

• That length of Bentley Road South, Bentley that is situated from its junction with Marshland Way to its junction with Willenhall Lane

A temporary ‘No stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the work. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed via Marshland Way, A454 Black Country Route, A463 Black Country Route, Keyway Junction, A463 Armstrong Way, A462 Owen Road, A462 Midland Road and The Green and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5506) will come into operation on Tuesday 9 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier.

The prohibition of traffic and no stopping is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake carriageway patching work in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place between the hours of 1900 (7.00 pm) and 0600 (6.00 am) only from Tuesday 9 April 2024 to Wednesday 10 April 2024.

BLAKENALL LANE, BLAKENALL HEATH AND VICTORIA AVENUE, BLOXWICH 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping along that length of carriageway specified below:

• That length of Blakenall Lane, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with Chapel Street to its junction with Blakenall Row.

 • That length of Blakenall Heath, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with Blakenall Lane to its junction with Bell Tower Close. 

• That length of Victoria Avenue, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with Church Place to its junction with Blakenall Heath.

A temporary ‘No stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the work. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed via Blakenall Lane, B4210 Bloxwich Road, Harden Road and Walker Road and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5513) will come into operation on Thursday 18 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier

The prohibition of traffic and no stopping is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake carriageway patching work in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place from 1900 (7.00 pm) on Thursday 18 April 2024 to 0600 (6.00 am) on Friday 19 April 2024.

The Walsall Metropolitan Borough (Blakenall Heath/Blakenall Lane, Blakenall) (One-Way Working) Order 2005, insofar as it relates to Blakenall Lane and Blakenall Heath is hereby temporarily suspended, on the dates and at the times the road is closed, in order that access to affected properties can be maintained.

BLOXWICH ROAD SOUTH, WILLENHALL 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle fromproceeding orstopping along thatlength of carriageway specified below:

• That length of Bloxwich Road South, Willenhall that is situated from its junction with Clothier Street to its junction with Granville Street

A temporary ‘No stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the work. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed via Monmer Lane, Ashmore Lake Road, Lucknow Road, Pool Hayes Lane, Broad Lane South, B4484 Fibbersley, B4484 Wellington Place and B4484 Wednesfield Road and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5514) will come into operation on Friday 19 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier.

The prohibition of traffic and no stopping is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake carriageway patching work in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place from 1900 (7.00 pm) on Friday 19 April 2024 to 0600 (6.00 am) on Saturday 20 April 2024.

HEATH ROAD, DARLASTON 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping along that length of carriageway specified below:

• That length of Heath Road, Darlaston that is situated from its junction with Station Street to its junction with Whitworth Close.

A temporary ‘No stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the work. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed via Heath Road, A462 The Green, A462 Blockall, A462 St Lawrence Way, A4038 Pinfold Street and A4038 Walsall Road and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5507) will come into operation on Wednesday 10 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier

The prohibition of traffic and no stopping is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Walsall Council can undertake carriageway patching work in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place from 1900 (7.00 pm) on Wednesday 10 April 2024 0600 (6.00 am) on Thursday 11 April 2024

KNIGHTS HILL, ALDRIDGE 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF TRAFFIC)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in that length of carriageway specified below:

• That length of Knights Hill that is situated from its junction with Erdington Road to its junction with Barr Common Road

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Notice will be via Erdington Road and Barr Common Road and vice versa.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5515) will come into operation on Monday 22 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works completed, whichever is the earlier

The prohibition of traffic is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Cadent Gas can undertake work to trace and repair a gas escape in the carriageway in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. Work is expected to take place from 0800 (8.00 am) on Monday 22 April 2024 until 1730 (5.30 pm) on Friday 26 April 2024.

MARKET PLACE AND ELMORE ROW, BLOXWICH 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONOF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC)ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of carriageway of specified below:

• That length of Market Place, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with A34 High Street to its junction with Elmore Row. 

• That length of Elmore Row, Bloxwich that is situated from its junction with A34 High Street to its junction with Church Moat Way.

A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic and access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed via Church Moat Way, B4210 Elmore Green Road and A34 High Street.

This Order (Ref: GW/2265/5516) will come into operation on Wednesday 17 April 2024 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is earlier

The prohibition of traffic is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Avove Utilities can undertake work to rectify a defect in the carriageway in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public. It is expected that the work will take place from 1900 (7.00 pm) on Wednesday 17 April 2024 to 0600 (6.00 am) on Thursday 18 April 2024.
