B6318 Chollerford To Brunton Cross Roads, Hexham
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6318 Chollerford to Brunton Cross Roads from it's junction with Chollerford roundabout heading south east for a length of 125 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th April 2024 until the 16th April 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 14th April 2024 between the hours of 8:00 until 16:00, however the Order will remain in place until the 16th April and the road could be closed for the whole period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6318, the B6319, the C235, the C234, the A69, the A6079 and vice versa. The closure has been requested by R J Utilities Services Ltd on behalf of Openreach to replace a frame and cover. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of the Order.
