C97 BEACON ROAD HAMPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C97 Beacon Road Hampeth from its junction with the U3093 heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 555 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th April 2024 until the 15th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th April 2024 until the 17th April 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 15th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U3028, U3093 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
