Wilsthorpe Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Surface Dressing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WILSTHORPE ROAD, LONG EATON
WHEN: 01 April to 30 September 2024 (For no more than 10 individual days between 09:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton between its Jct. with B6540 Tamworth Road and with A6005 Derby Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6540: Tamworth Road; Market Place; Nottingham Road, A6005 Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
