What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BUCKFORD LANE, WILLINGTON

WHEN: 12 April to 15 April 2024 (21:00 to 06:00).

WHERE: Buckford Lane, Willington (from a point approx. 580m west of the Jct. with Frizams Lane, for a distance of approx. 185m).

REASON: To facilitate parking and delivery of materials for works on National Rail bridge.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Buckford Lane, Unnamed Road from Twyford Road to Buckford Lane, A5132 Twyford Road, The Green, Canal Bridge, Findern Lane, Willington Road, Heath Lane and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
