EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Cutstraw Road , Stewarton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 26th March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other
enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow Scottish Water Works
Temporary Road Closure – Cutstraw Road, Stewarton, for 60m from junction Holm
Street to junction prior to number 3 Cutstraw Road.
The Order commences on 15 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to
commence from 15 April 2024 at 09:00 with the closure remaining in place until 28
April 2024 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but
the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
Access for residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via
diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Kirkford > Holm Street > Vennel Street > Main
Street > High Street > Old Mill View > Robertland Rigg > Cutsburn Road > Cutsburn
Brae > Cutstraw Road > and Vice Versa.

(Polwarth Street, Galston) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 26th March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other
enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power Upgrades
Temporary Road Closure – Polwarth Street, Galston, Closed between Bridge Street
& Barrmill Road.
The Order commences on 15 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to
commence from 15 April 2024 at 07:00 until 26 April 2024 at 23:59
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but
the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access, as well as access for residents and deliveries will be
maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Bridge Street > B7037 > A71 & Vice Versa

(Kennedy Drive, Kilmarnock - New Farm Loch)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 26th March 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other
enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow works on belhalf of Andrew
Strain Construction Ltd.
Temporary Road Closure – Kennedy Drive, Kilmarnock - New Farm Loch From
junction Livingstone Court east bound for 190m.
The Order commences on 15 April 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months
or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to
commence from 15 April 2024 at 08:00 until 27 May 2024 at 18:00
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but
the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ outwith
the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Kennedy Drive, South Dean Road, B7082
Grassyards Road, Kennedy Drive and vice versa.
