What is happening?
Road Closure – Sway Road, Hordle, New Forest
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of Sway Road between its junction with Vagg’s Lane and its junction with Brockhills Lane.
Alternative Route: Sway Road, Fernhill Road, Ahsley Road, Ashley Lane, Vagg’s Lane
Duration Of Order: from 10th April 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 0930-1530).
