ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Gothic Road, Twickenham. (Reference 24/052)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water valve works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gothic Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Gothic Road, from its junction with Staines Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 18 meters.

3. The order will come into effect on 01 April 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 01 April 2024 until 03 April 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Gothic Road, Trafalgar Road, Fourth Cross Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restrictions

Ham Close, and Stuart Road, Ham. (Reference 24/051)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Ham Close, and Stuart Road, am.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths pf road:-

(a) Ham Close from its junction with Ashburnham Road northwestwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres;

(b) Stuart Road around the junction of Woddville Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 25 March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham. (Reference 24/049)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to Telecoms works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Hospital Bridge Road from its junction with Stirling Road to its junction with Montrose Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect on 23 March 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress on the 23 March 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hospital Bridge Road, Percy Road, High Street Whitton, and Nelson Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Paradise Road, Richmond (Reference 24/048)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water utility survey works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Paradise Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Paradise Road from its junction with Eton Street to a point outside No 32 Paradise Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 25th March 2024 the restrictions will be in force between 20:00 and 23:59 on 25th March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheen Road and Eton Street.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Waiting Restrictions

Riverview Gardens, Barnes. (Reference 24/050)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Building works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Riverview Gardens, Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Riverview Gardens from a point approximately 29 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Castelnau south-eastwards for a distance of 10 meters to include the resident bay and motorcycle bay.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 March 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress Monday to Fridays 08.00 to 17.00 from 21 March to 16 May 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
