Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024 On 27 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5355 Sandy Hill Road, Farnham. This Traffic Order is required to enable South East Water to carry out water mains replacement and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7:30am and 5pm, within 6 months of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 09 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be carried out in sections which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives. Access to affected residences and businesses, including access for emergency services to such properties will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives and/or by means of road plates via the alternative route: – Upper Hale Road and Alma Lane. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024 On 27 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Barford Lane (D127) Churt, Farnham which extends from its junction with Crossways (A287) to its junction with Kitts Lane (D131). Alternative Route – Churt Road (A287), Tilford Road (A287), Portsmouth Road (A333), Headley Road (B3002), Grayshott Road (B3002), Glayshers Hill, Churt Road (A287) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 4 days, between 9:30am and 2:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 2 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024 Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceed in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway reconstruction works, which is anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 6 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 April 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole means of pedestrian access to premises will be affected. Alternative Route – D5336 St James Avenue, D5336 Stoke Hills, D5336 St James Terrace, D5336 Sumner Road, D5336 Thorald Road and D5336 St Cross Road. Schedule 1. the entire length of T11033 Townpath – St Cross Road to Sumner Road, otherwise known as Public Footpath No. 97 (Farnham); 2. the entire length of T11032 Townpath – Sumner Road to East Street, part of which is known as Public Footpath No. 97 (Farnham); 3. the entire length of T11061 St James Avenue to St Cross Road Townpath, part of which is known as Public Footpath No. 188 (Farnham); 4. that length of T11062 Townpath – Stoke Hill to St James, otherwise known as Public Footpath No. 189 (Farnham), which extends from the southern highway boundary of St James Avenue Footpath to the eastern highway boundary with Stoke Hills; 5. the entire length of footpath/townpath known as D5536 St James Avenue, Farnham.
