What is happening?

BRIGHTON & HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ('the Council') proposes to make the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if it comes into force will introduce the following:

BRIGHTON & HOVE (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019 AMENDMENT NO.* 202* (TRO-9A-2024)

• Removes staff permit at Norton Road Car Park

• Introduces new season tickets to barrier car parks

• Combines the weekend and weekday tariffs at Trafalgar Street car park

BRIGHTON & HOVE (CHAPEL STREET OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2019 AMENDMENT NO.* 202* (TRO-9B-2024)

Removes the Quarterly Season Ticket and introduces a Monthly Season Ticket A copy of this Notice, the proposed Order and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.

All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Executive Director Economy, Environment & Culture, Brighton & Hove City Council Parking Infrastructure, Room G40, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference number shown above or by e-mail to TROcomment@brighton-hove.gov.uk or online (see details above) no later than 12th April 2024. Please ensure you include your full name and address.
