Forton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Remove & Replace Kiosk Housing

Temporary Closure of Forton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Forton Road - from 215 metres north-west of the junction with Cranway Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 151 metres.
This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to remove and replace kiosk housing.
The Order becomes effective on 11th April 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 17th April 2024 and last until 21st April 2024 between the hours of 09:00 - 15:00 for a total of 5 days.
