What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C126 (Part), Purton; from outside its property known as Diana Lodge for a distance of approximately 200m in a south westerly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out rail corrosion inspection work and other associated works. Alternative route via C126 (unaffected length) - C414 - B4553 - C126 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:20 and 09:10 for 1 night. B) Coxstalls, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with Borough Fields for a distance of approximately 120m in a north westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out frame and cover renewal works and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. C) A342 (Part), Chirton and Urchfont; from its junction with The Hollow to its junction with C248 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works. - A345 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 27 April 2024. D) The Street (Part), Hullavington; from its junction with Royal Field Close for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out installation of a pole with underground ducting and associated works. Alternative route via The Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. E) C6 (Part), Mildenhall and Ramsbury; from its junction with Sound Corpse Lane for a distance of approximately 500m in a north easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out erect and change rotten pole. Alternative route via C6 (unaffected length) - B4192 - A4 - C18 - C6 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00 for 1 night. F) C95 (Part), St Paul Malmesbury Without; from its junction with Byway 46, St Paul Malmesbury Without to its junction with Bridleway 43, St Paul Malmesbury Without to enable Openreach to carry out safe access to underground structure to provide new customer service. Alternative route via C95 (unaffected length) - A429 - B4042 - B4040 - C95 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 10:30 and 16:30 for 1 day. G) Stonebridge Lane, Marlborough; from its junction with Vicarage Close for its entire length to enable Arch Angel Construction to carry out site preparation, foundation and associated maintenance works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 15 April 2024 and the closure will be required until 27 August 2024. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: H) C67 (Part), Braydon and Purton; from its junction with C76 to its junction with B4696 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun works to stabilise and improve the roadside verges and other associated works. Alternative route via B4696 - B4040

- C76 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 for 4 days. I) C3 (Part), Ogbourne St George; from its property known as The Elms for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out short service pipe relay including fitting carriageway. Alternative route via C3 (unaffected length) - C189 - A346 - C3 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 March 2024 and the closure will be required for 2 days. J) Newtown, Hullavington; from its junction with The Street for its entire length to enable Openreach to carry out installation of poles, ducting and associated works. Alternative route via Mere Avenue - The Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 5 days. For further information please contact Freeflow TM on behalf of Openreach on 01355 204311. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 16(A) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily close to all traffic: A) Church Walk, Devizes; from its junction with A342 Nursteed Road to its junction with Brickley Lane. Alternative route via Brickley Lane - A361 Estcourt Street - A342 Nursteed and vice versa. And to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic under a rolling road closure: B) A342 Nursteed Road, Devizes; from its junction with A360 Southbroom Road to its junction with Monument Hill. C) Roseland Avenue (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Nursteed Road to its junction with Longcroft Avenue. D) Longcroft Avenue, Devizes; from its junction with Roseland Avenue to its junction with Brickley Lane. E) Brickley Lane (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Longcroft Avenue to its junction with Bricksteed Avenue. F) Bricksteed Avenue, Devizes; from its junction with Brickley Lane to its junction with Nursteed Road. The above closures B) to F) will be managed on a 'rolling road closure' basis and will be reopened to traffic as soon as safely possible to enable LPS Events to carry out Devizes Half Marathon and 10km race. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 14 April 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 13:30 for one day and will recommence on 29 September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 12:00 for one day. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 11 (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Union Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction to enable resurfacing works. Alternative route via alternative existing highways. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 15 April 2024 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 10 May 2024. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
